Please join us and speaker, Amy Cavanaugh, for a presentation on the “Document Best Practices and Plan Design Pitfalls”

Plan administration can be complex. The plan document is intended to be a road map for the plan's overall operation. In order to avoid the time and expense of operational defects, it is critical to draft the plan in a manner that facilitates ease of administration and coordinates with the plan's record-keeping as well as HR practices. This presentation will address some best practices in plan design that facilitate compliance as well as some document management tips. We will also address some common plan designs that can be problematic and give rise to operational defects.
